What From the Filings is

From the Filings presents figures from public company filings, prices from a market data source, and the output of valuation models whose every assumption is shown and adjustable. It is a tool for forming your own view. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and not a substitute for a licensed adviser who knows your situation.

No advice, no guarantees

Nothing on this site is personalised to you. Model outputs depend on assumptions that may be wrong, on filings that may be restated, and on prices that may be stale or erroneous. We flag what we can detect and we say where every number came from, but we do not warrant that any figure is accurate, complete, or current. Decisions you make are yours.

Your account

An account is an e-mail address. Keep your sign-in links to yourself; anyone with a link can sign in as you until it expires. You may delete your account at any time from the account page, which removes your saved work.

Acceptable use

Use the site as a person reading it. Do not scrape it at volume, resell its data, or present its outputs as your own research product. The dataset derives from public filings and the models are open about their method, so there is little to steal and no reason to try. An API with proper terms is coming for those who want programmatic access.

Data sources and attribution

Company financials come from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR system, which is public domain. Price data is provided by the source named on each chart and is used under that source's licence; during this private beta the source is a development feed not licensed for public display, which is one reason the beta is private.
